The Empire

Charvahall
Caravhall is a small earthy village situated at the base of the Idualda Falls, which are half a mile high. Three hundred or so people live here, mainly farmers. Because is is so far north, Carvahall recieves few visitors during the year, except for the traders that visit each fall.

The Spine
The Spine is a wild, untamed range of mountains that runs down most of the Empire. It has only one magor pass, along the Toark River, wich serves to isolate the coast. Most people in the Empire fear the Spine and the danger it represents, especially since the king lost nearly half his army in it during his campaign against the Dragon Riders.
A great place for duels.

Open Plains
Part of the Empire, if your traveling, you better get supplied at Yazuac. Strong windstorms do happen. There is a mountain so steep, it is only accessible if you are flying.

Yazuac
A small farming village, Yazuac was destroyed by the king by the king because he suspected that villagers were assissting the rebel group, Varden.
This objective point is currently owned by 'The Varden' And collects 2,500 crowns per week in taxes

Gil' ead
Gil'ead serves two purposes for the Empire. The first is as a fishing and trapping center where hunters can replenish supplies and sell their pelts and meat before returning to the wild. The second is as a garrison and raining ground for the kings army. Gil'ead was chosen for this purpose becuase it is close to the forest, Du Weldencarden, the hoome of the king's enemies, the elves, who live among the trees.

The capital of The Empire, running from the Ramr River, it Uru'bean. It is heavily guarded, and will have a tough time entering if you are not of his service.

Helgrind
Helgrind is one of the most unusual formations in Alagaesia. A huge, bare mountain of jagged black rock that thrusts up from a flat plain, it has inspired awe and fear for centuries among te various races. The basis of a rather unpleasant human religion that involves sacrificing body parts, it also serves as a clandestine stronghold for the king's agents.

Teirm
Teirm is a beautiful cuty set on the edge of the ocean. A major port for sea trade, the citizens have been forved to deal with repeated attacks by pirates and Urgals. As a relult, after Tierm was entirely burned by one such assault, it was rebuilt out of stone, with a huge wall a hundred feet tall and thirty feet thick, and a gigantic citadel, out of which rises a lighthouse tower that can been seen for miles.

Hadarac Desert

Hadarac Desert
The Empire effectively ends at the Hadarac Desert, wich fills the heart of Alagaesia. Without the Dragon Riders, it is simply too difficult to maintain a governement over that vast tract of desolate earth. In fact, the desert is one of the few things that prevents the king from expanding the Empire to include all of easter Alagaesia. The Haddarac Desert is also the dragons' sncestral land.

Beor Mountains
The mountain range than conceal the location of the Varden. The Beor Mountains are the tallest mountains in Alagaesia. They are over ten miles high; so thigh, that as you approach them, the peaks fade out of sight and all you see is a giant wall of ice and snow before you, with a tiny band of trees near the ground. It's in these mountains that dwarves live, where they believe they were breated out of the living granite by their god Helzvog.
